"Christy works out of a facility in my town, and I've been seeing her with multiple issues for about two years. On average, it's about twice a month, where she assess the current issues at hand; pain, emotions, sanity (variable), function and whatever else is going on. Overall, Christy is very very caring, she asks you what is important to you and adjusts today's approach to your current requests.
Her treatment of me includes acupuncture, moxa, e-stim and tuning forks. One day I asked her if she could help with a medication side effect of dry mouth, and 20 min later my mouth is watering despite the medication. Living with chronic issues and a busy life complicates everything. Having Christy as an integrated part of my health care approach has made all the other aspects more manageable. I consider her a friend and a health team member, as she knows more about me than almost anyone else, yet I feel very safe in her capable caring hands."
"While visiting my daughter in Colorado, my shoulder was hurting and I was experiencing limited movement of it. Christy Kennedy was recommended to me, so I decided to see if I could get an appointment with her. She was able to work me in and I have to say, she truly helped me with an acupuncture treatment and some sort of an herbal poultice to apply to my shoulder. She took time
with me to show me some exercises that would help me too! I would recommend her to anyone!"
"I first started going to IAA for just general health and overall well being. More of a proactive nature. I wanted to learn more about me and I believe so much in the body and how little we know about it as well as I believe the body can do a lot if we just give it a chance and give it time.
So along my new journey, I beat the crap out of my body over a month's time.... more than usual. I'm a personal trainer, strength coach and nutritionist. Oh and I'm 45 by the way. Anyway, I have to be honest...I didn't really think of acupuncture as a method of healing. Wow, was I wrong! I still went to my bi-monthly appointment with Christy, not expecting she do much for the muscle damage I had done. Again, I love it when I am wrong because it means I learned something.
So we have used the needles of course, but man... we used cupping, tuning forks, estim, some heat lamps...i think that's it. Anyway, we started this healing process and now my body is feeling great and I think I am finally healing. I can't imagine that I would be here without Christy's help, guidance and expertise. I have referred people to Christy and will continue to without hesitation!"
"I saw Christy during and after my pregnancy and had a wonderful experience! She was able to help me early in my pregnancy when I got a cold, a wonderful alternative to taking OTC meds during the first trimester. She also treated me for ankle swelling later in my pregnancy. After the delivery, I recovered quickly taking the herbs she prescribed (safe for nursing!). I highly recommend Christy
to any woman who is pregnant, post-partum or considering pregnancy."
"I've seen Christy Kennedy at 2 of her Denver locations. Not only is she professional and knowledgeable, she was able to truly make a difference in my pain. I have seen many acupuncturists over the years and Christy has been the only one that considered my stress level and my emotional connection to the pain. What a difference! She has also helped my wife tremendously with her chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia. A+++++"
"Christy Kennedy is fantastic! As a person afraid of needles, I have never felt more comfortable and relaxed. I was referred to her for shoulder pain after my physical therapy began to plateau. She had
me pain free in 6 visits! I never considered acupuncture before but now I am a believer!"
